Rates
My standard rate is $150.00 per 50 minute session for individuals and $190.00 per hour and 15 minutes for couples.
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider. But many common insurance carriers with PPO or POS plans will reimburse a good portion for our work together. Prior to our initial consultation which is complimentary, it is advised you contact your insurance company to verify your out-of-network benefits for mental health services (often referred to as "behavioral health") with a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist . Some helpful questions you can ask them are:
- What percentage of the fee per therapy session is covered?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Payment
I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Debit cards. In addition you can also use your Medical Flex Cards. These include HSA (Health Savings Account), FSA (Flexible Spending Account), and HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) cards. Payment is made at each session.
Cancellation Policy
Scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time especially for you. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, meaning if you don't come to your appointment, and you haven't notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be responsible for the cost of the missed session, unless I am able to fill that hour with another client. This policy applies to both in-person and virtual sessions.
